Marketing Video: Dairy Micro-Ingredient Machine

Challenge

Increase Sales of Micro-Ingredient Dispensing Dairy Equipment

When a leading animal health distributor and equipment manufacturer wanted to improve sales of its micro-ingredient machine, it turned to IronMule Creative, LLC to write and produce a compelling and effective video suitable for use in a broad range of applications.

Solution

Video gave this client the ability to showcase a very large micro-ingredient dispensing hardware and software system to dairymen from a laptop, DVD or iPad. On-camera testimonials by other satisfied dairymen helped build trust and confidence - not only in the micro-ingredient machine, but also in the sales rep and the company.

Results

Use of the Micro-Machine Video helped dramatically grow sales and extend the reach and influence of field sales representatives.

Driver Recruiting Video: Refrigerated Carrier

Challenge

Over-the-road trucking experiences some of the highest employee turnover rates of any industry. Carriers fiercely compete to attract and retain new drivers. A leading refrigerated carrier and industry innovator wanted a compelling, new tool to show prospective drivers. The clients wanted a consistent, repeatable message that takes the pressure off of recruiters, and one that drives conversation.

Solution

Working together with Bryant Advertising & Photography, LLC, IronMule Creative, LLC wrote and produced a 2-part recruiting video that describes how the client makes life on the road more livable with better training, better pay, a better quality of life, and the best equipment in the industry. The video is shown at truck driver training schools and on the company website.

Results

The carrier has experienced higher levels of interest from prospective drivers, and greater interaction between recruiters and student drivers at live forums.

PSA: Shawnee County Hunter Education Association

Challenge

Increase Participation in Free Hunter Safety Course

Kansas' Shawnee County Hunter Education Association's unique, hands-on approach to hunter safety instills greater skills and understanding than a typical classroom and workbook-based approach. SCHEA observed a dramatic drop in participation in their free course over a many-year period.

Solution

IronMule Creative developed a pro bono :30 PSA suitable for broadcast on television, radio, and the SCHEA website. The goal was to reach a broader demographic range of potential participants by showing viewers the exciting, interactive and hands-on nature of this free, 2-day course. Production consisted of research and writing a script, shooting activities and sessions at the 2 day course, and assembling the voice over, graphics and edit.

Results

SCHEA used the completed PSA to generate free press coverage of their facilities, volunteers, and course offerings, and to drive interest and participation in their course that is offered 3 times per year.

Grant Funding Presentation: Kansas City Zoo

Challenge

Develop Winning Video Content for a Charitable Gift

When the Kansas City Zoo came under consideration for a sizable charitable gift, they turned to the Hallmark Cards Foundation and IronMule Creative to develop a compelling video to differentiate the Zoo's unique contributions to the community from other competitors for the gift.

Solution

IronMule Creative, LLC wrote the script and, working together with Hallmark Media Productions, produced this spot. Production occurred in one day at the Kansas City Zoo and Hallmark Media Productions. The spot was shot on a Canon 5D.

Results

The Kansas City Zoo won the gift, and used it for seed money for a future Penguin exhibit.

Corporate Image & Safety Culture Film

Challenge

IronMule Creative, LLC was challenged by a client to "top" a previous image and safety video that was very well received by employees, management, and the client's executive team. The video must pull together all the core concepts of the client's flagship safety training, while also featuring a broad range of genuine employees from various crafts and geographic locations.

Solution

We took 2 basic approaches in creating an even more impactful corporate image and safety video. First, unlike the original video, we decided to focus more on work groups than just individual workers. Many of the client's employees work in small teams, and a strong focus of the safety program involves looking out for, and approaching, co-workers with safety concerns. Second, we decided to increase the production value of the piece by using a Red EPIC camera combined with ample camera movement and frame rate manipulation to deliver a richer, more filmic look and organic feel. This approach allowed us to capture the visual impact of various railroad jobs, along with the drama of photographing small groups of workers in their natural working environments. Some of the shops are over 100 years old. And railroad work occurs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It was important to show night time work, which was shot in California's central valley.

Results

The finished piece effectively captures the railroad's sense of movement, the drama of the work, the importance of approaching others, and the genuine grit and emotion of the employees in a compelling and inspiring work.

Sprint Center: The Journey

Challenge

When a local post-house needed to create a high-impact video to document the evolution of a big city, down town arena from concept through completion, they chose IronMule Creative, LLC President David Vickers to write the script and produce the piece.

Solution

Start with an inspiring script. Secure a big voice. Create a custom musical score. Find a range of stock motion and still images from leading artists, sports franchises, events and promoters. Arrange for some locally sourced HD aerial footage. Bring it all together with the post company's high end motion graphics and editorial.

Results

The Sprint Center management team was thrilled with the final product. Thousands of fans watched this piece before every Sprint Center event during its inaugural year.
